Vegetable Juice

1 cup water
Salt
Black pepper
1 beet, washed and finely chopped
2 carrots, washed, peeled, and finely chopped
3 leaves fresh spinach, washed and finely chopped
2 tomatoes, washed, peeled, and finely chopped
Fresh lime juice (add a few drops first and then check if you need more)

Vegetable Juice Preparation Method

Process the water, salt, pepper, beet, carrots, spinach, tomatoes and lime juice in a blender until smooth.  Serve immediately.

Makes 1 serving

Per Servings; 150 calories, 5 g protein, 33 g carbohydrates, 2 g fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 490 mg sodium, 9 g fiber

Tomatoes supply vitamin C, carotenes, potassium and lycopene which protects the prostate.  Carrots have carotenes as well.  The liver needs a variety of carotenes in order to detoxify the body.
